Background Story

I first encountered Daman Jeet and Tavleen five years ago at the Traffic & Conversion Summit, a marketing event where I was a speaker. At the time, they were developing XLPlugins, a collection of plugins aimed at enhancing WooCommerce’s conversion rates. Since then, I have followed their progress, observing their product line grow into the most robust sales funnel builder for WordPress.

Last year, on my 31st birthday, I posted a tweet celebrating a milestone for my plugin WPForms, which had surpassed 5 million active installations. Daman Jeet replied with a congratulatory message, and we caught up via Twitter DM, where we discussed a potential partnership. I was impressed by how effective Twitter DMs can be.

After the frenzied period of Black Friday, Christmas holidays, and the New Year, we had a Zoom call and decided that teaming up would be a smart move. I invested in WooFunnels through the WPBeginner Growth Fund and will be providing advice to the team on how to expand their WordPress product business.
