We are thrilled to announce that the WPBeginner Growth Fund has made an investment in HeroThemes, the parent company responsible for the highly acclaimed WordPress knowledge base theme and plugin, Heroic KB and KnowAll Theme.
With a customer base of over 26,000 astute business owners, HeroThemes’ plugins and themes empower organizations to build comprehensive knowledge bases and deliver exceptional customer support services.
HeroThemes is a renowned WordPress company headquartered in the United Kingdom. It was founded by Chris Hadley and Richard Long, aiming to provide innovative solutions for delivering exceptional customer service on WordPress websites.
The company specializes in developing cutting-edge tools that empower website owners to streamline their customer support processes. Forging a Partnership: WPBeginner Growth Fund and HeroThemes
Four years ago, I commemorated WPBeginner’s 10-year anniversary with a post that encouraged our readers to share their WPBeginner stories through videos, highlighting the lessons they learned and the impact it had on their businesses.
Among the numerous user videos we received, one response stood out—Chris Hadley’s. Chris had been a devoted follower of WPBeginner and credited our early article on the WordPress super loop for playing a pivotal role in establishing the foundation of his venture, HeroThemes.
Coincidentally, we had been utilizing Heroic KB plugin to power several of our own knowledge base sites, while also leveraging the functionality derived from this plugin in the initial stages of developing our other documentation sites.
As we entered 2023, a mutual decision was made to join forces. Through the WPBeginner Growth Fund, I invested in HeroThemes and will provide guidance to their team as they expand their business.
At Awesome Motive, we boast extensive experience in creating popular WordPress plugins, catering to over 25 million websites worldwide. Our portfolio companies within the WPBeginner growth fund, such as MemberPress, Formidable Forms, Pretty Links, Wholesale Suite, Uncanny Automator, and others, have achieved remarkable growth over the years.
By combining our collective knowledge with HeroThemes, we aim to enhance our ability to serve the broader WordPress community. I am thrilled to collaborate with Chris, Richard, and the entire HeroThemes team, working together to accelerate their growth in 2023 and beyond. They will be joining me at our upcoming Mastermind event, where we will further strengthen our partnership.
